Every person in the world has an obsession with a particular color. Being passionately engaged in colors is a beautiful yet enigmatic sense as if a new area of the universe opens up for you and a previously neglected section of your favorite library becomes familiar. Among many colors, the color yellow is loved by many, and there are reasons for that. Yellow may be bright and vivid, so it can frequently evoke intense emotions and be an immediate attention grabber. With yellow being the most visible color, it is also the most noticeable. Usually, you might see yellow be used sparingly to capture attention, like traffic signs or hoardings.

Embracing the color yellow and integrating it into a brand is what Stephen Jody Works has done out of his obsession with the color. His infatuation with the color yellow began in primary school when his school colors were Blue/Gold, yet he associates gold with yellow. As he grew older, he embraced it even more and adapted it into his brand, SpringSims. He defines yellow as the color representing positivity, kindness, and happiness. Yellow extends into almost all of his activities and behavior, reflecting his love for the color.

Works took the color yellow to the point of obsession, where he has his entire room painted yellow and is frequently seen wearing yellow by his followers all over the world. Speaking of followers, Works has over 35,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and has posted over 2000 videos. He also streams on Twitch six days a week, with over 35,000 followers as of 2022. The Yellow color enthusiast is known to his fans as the SpringSims due to his love and devotion to the game since he was only four years old. The creative storytelling he follows in his gameplay, especially in the Sim Series, has made him popular among streamers.

He grew up playing the Sims and has established a bond with it to entertain his followers while raising awareness about the game. His main YouTube channel focuses on The Sims 2 and The Sims 4, with videos spanning from builds to Sims Let plays. His main channel is dedicated to breaking down videos (current households) of his Sims families, which he broadcasts on Twitch. With over a decade of experience in the business, Works has grown more active with the Sims Community and followers. His involvement touched the heights to the extent that he made an appearance on "The Sims Sparkd." on Team Freezerbunny with XUrbanSimsX and DeeSims.

Works were also welcomed into the Twitch Partner Program in July 2020. Works and other game creators were approved for the StreamElements Creator Diversity Fund, which was launched in September 2020. Later in February 2021, Works launched a weekly podcast called Hello Spring which focused on the creator space. Season 1 of the podcast ended on July 21, 2021, with 20 episodes having guests like Lilsimsie, Doctor Ashley, and OshinSims.

At the same time, Works and a plethora of Twitch Sims streamers joined Hope for Haiti to launch a Back-to-School campaign for Haitian children and put them back into schools. At the end of the month, the team generated $11,200 using the app Tiltify for the cause.

Work is a skilled gamer as well as a great voiceover artist. He went on to pursue it after graduating from Webster University in 2020. During the pandemic, he was primarily working on improving his voiceover skills and taking classes online at Voice Over Camp, founded by Krizia Bajos, a Cuban American Actress, and Voice Over Artist, which eventually landed him a role in a Sims 4 Machinima Series called Davenporte on YouTube made by miboy1991, which is currently wrapping up season 3. He had a passion for entertainment from an early age. He realized that his role in life was to amuse others and share his stories or expertise about something.

Works have made a profession out of inspiring people who want to go out into the world and accomplish the same but in their own unique manner. In 2021, he launched Hello Spring Co. At his online stationery firm, he creates and illustrates all of his items, which include stickers, coloring books, art prints, and digital products. His store's future plans include adding more items such as puzzles, calendars, journals, and greeting cards.

Stephen Jody Works, his love for the color yellow, and his infatuation with the Sims have made him reach many fans. However, he has a lot on his plate today, as he has the ambition to be a published illustrator with his line of books, including a cookbook with his family.
