What is homeopathy?
The word "homeopathy" comes from the Greek and means "similar ailment". It is a holistic method of treatment, as it takes into account the state of body, mind and spirit. The homeopathic method of treatment was founded by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann (1755 - 1843) and it has now proven itself for over two hundred years.
You don't have to believe in homeopathy or have a special diet to be treated successfully. A homeopathic treatment also has nothing to do with suggestion or manipulation. It is a therapy with a scientific approach and basic principles, which is successfully used and highly appreciated in many countries worldwide.
The basic idea is that every organism wants to adapt itself optimally to all "adversities of life". Homeopathic remedies, such as those offered by Pharmasana, support this natural impulse by stimulating the patient's self-healing powers in a specific way and by stimulating the body to use them for the purpose of healing. This type of therapy does not work against the disease, but for the healing of the whole person. Pathogens and stressful environmental influences are thus also not regarded as the cause of a disease, but merely as triggers.
Homeopathic medicines
The starting substances of homeopathic medicines come mainly from the plant and animal kingdoms or consist of minerals. Research into the efficacy of such remedies is carried out on healthy people by means of a drug trial. They are diluted, triturated and/or shaken in a special procedure. This process, called potentizing, allows the remedy to be used in the smallest dosages. Persistent serious side effects are thus practically excluded when used correctly.
Therefore, homeopathy is especially suitable for the treatment of pregnant women and infants. However, incorrectly prescribed medicines can irritate the organism, especially if they are taken over a long period of time.
Homeopathic medicines are taken by the patient in the form of globules or drops. A single remedy contains only ONE medicinally active substance. Homeopathic remedies are not injected (injected) and remedies in ointment form are also not provided according to the laws of homeopathy. This type of medicine is administered in various degrees of potentization. The decisive factor for the success of the treatment is primarily the administration of the appropriate remedy, and secondarily the chosen potency. Homeopathic medicines (like other medicines) should be stored away from moisture, large temperature fluctuations, direct sunlight.
