Eyebrows Furrow: Tips for Smoothing It Out

About 30% of women under the age of 35 regularly use anti-wrinkle products. This includes one in five women under the age of 24. If your eyebrows furrow, wrinkles could make you look older than your age.

Here are a few tips you can use to smooth out a furrowed brow. With these tips, you can improve your appearance for younger-looking skin!

Stay Hydrated

Dehydration can cause your skin to dry out, leading to wrinkles. Without enough moisture, the wrinkles you already have will look more prominent, too. Your skin will begin to look pallid and flaky if you're not drinking enough water.

Look for a daily SPF 50 sunscreen to protect your skin. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses before heading outside too.

Try to catch yourself if you start making faces or squinting in the sun. Relax your face and focus on maintaining lowered eyebrows. If you keep repeating the same movements, wrinkles will form. 

Balance Your Diet

You are what you eat! Adjusting your diet can improve your skin health before a furrowed brow forms.

Try eating a balance of vitamins and minerals by adding a range of fruits and vegetables to your diet. Choose fruits and vegetables of different colors. Each color indicates a different vitamin!

Providing your body with nutrients will help your skin thrive. It also helps your skin turn over dead cells rapidly. 

Consider adding more vitamins C and E to your diet to minimize wrinkles.

Otherwise, consider the bad habits that might affect your skin health. For example, ingesting harmful substances like nicotine can cause collagen to break down. 

Schedule Treatments

Professional treatments at a licensed medspa can help smooth your furrowed brow. 

Botox uses botulinum toxin A in its purified form. The Botox compound is injected into your skin to relax the muscle tissue causing the wrinkle in the first place. Botox is effective at smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.
