Energy healing has gained attention as a complementary method for wellness, offering techniques designed to promote relaxation and emotional balance. INCENTRE, a London-based personal and spiritual development centre founded by Kodo Zhang and Cécile Tanmaya George, allows individuals to explore ancient practices rooted in mystery school teachings of the Modern Mystery School. These modalities aim to support personal growth alongside traditional medical care.

Kodo Zhang, INCENTRE's founder, experienced two episodes of burnout during his tenure in investment banking in his twenties and has spent the last 17 years rigorously exploring and studying a range of alternative healing methodologies. He explains that energy healing works with the body's energetic systems to promote harmony. "Energy healing focuses on clearing blockages and restoring flow within our energetic structures," Zhang notes. He emphasises that these practices are intended as complementary therapies rather than replacements for conventional treatments.

Techniques such as Life Activation, Ensofic Ray Reiki and Aura Clearing form the core of INCENTRE's offerings. While these practices have anecdotal support for promoting relaxation, their effectiveness in addressing specific health concerns remains an area of ongoing research.

The Gentle Touch of Universal Energy

Practitioners describe Ensofic Ray Reiki, originating in Japan, as a gentle practice that channels energy through their hands to encourage relaxation. Zhang highlights its non-invasive nature: "Ensofic Ray Reiki sessions aim to create a calming environment where clients can release tension." Scientists debate the efficacy of Reiki beyond placebo effects, although research suggests it may help reduce stress and anxiety.

Practitioners facilitate relaxation by using hand positions across the body while clients lie down during a session. Zhang emphasises that Ensofic Ray Reiki is best viewed as a supportive therapy rather than a cure-all: "It works alongside other treatments to ease side effects and foster emotional balance."

The Art of Aura Clearing

Practitioners at INCENTRE focus aura clearing sessions on removing stagnant and negative energy from the body's electromagnetic field. This practice stems from metaphysical beliefs about energy fields surrounding individuals. Zhang explains: "Clearing our energy fields can help create space for inner peace."

However, scientific studies have not fully validated the existence of auras or their impact on health. While some individuals report feeling lighter or more focused after such sessions, these outcomes remain subjective and lack empirical support.

Life Activation Session

INCENTRE also offers Life Activation sessions inspired by ancient mystery school traditions. Practitioners claim these sessions awaken dormant aspects of an individual's being and promote clarity and self-awareness. Zhang describes life activation as "an energetic reset designed to reconnect clients with their higher selves."

Proponents assert benefits such as enhanced focus and emotional balance, but they provide only anecdotal evidence for these claims. Life Activation presents itself as an empowering experience rather than a scientifically proven treatment.

Bridging Ancient Wisdom and Modern Wellness

Alternative methods like energy healing continue to grow in popularity, and INCENTRE emphasises its role in complementing traditional medical care rather than replacing it. Zhang underscores the importance of collaboration: "Our goal is to provide tools that support individuals in navigating life's challenges while respecting professional medical advice."

Practices such as Ensofic Ray Reiki and Meditation may offer relaxation benefits, yet their integration into wellness routines requires caution and awareness of their limitations.

The London centre educates clients about holistic methods while maintaining transparency about the scope of its offerings. Furthermore, INCENTRE develops programmes that balance ancient wisdom with a contemporary understanding of wellness. Zhang believes personal transformation occurs when individuals connect with more profound aspects of themselves.

Clients seek relief from modern life's stresses when they arrive at INCENTRE. The centre responds by creating a peaceful environment where exploration becomes possible. Staff members receive extensive training in various modalities before working with clients.

Zhang often points out that energy healing traditions date back thousands of years across multiple cultures. Nevertheless, he acknowledges the need for responsible practice in contemporary contexts. The centre, therefore, maintains clear boundaries regarding what its services can realistically achieve.

INCENTRE hosts regular educational workshops to demystify energy healing concepts for newcomers. Interested participants can then pursue deeper study through structured programmes. The centre values both traditional knowledge and modern discernment in its teaching methods.
